About event
The A. N. Chilingarov International Forum “Arctic: Today and the future” is one of the key platforms for public and business dialogue on Arctic development. It brings together more than 3,000 representatives of government, business, academia, and civil society. The business programme focuses on the practical challenges and priorities of developing the Arctic macro-region, including major projects, the Northern Sea Route, technology, infrastructure, human capital, Arctic cities, environmental protection, and local economies.
For the first time, the Youth Forum “Arctic, Wait for Me!” takes place alongside the main Forum as an integral part of the overall programme. While the main Forum focuses on the issues that need to be addressed and the initiatives that need to be implemented today, the Youth Forum explores the kind of Arctic the next generation chooses and aspires to shape.
The exhibition showcases regional projects and business solutions aimed at strengthening the economy and improving quality of life.
The Forum is held with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Commission for Arctic Development, and relevant ministries and government agencies.
